I create art that delves into the concept of other worlds and the stories that exist within them. Each of my pieces represents a small part of a larger narrative that extends both backward and forward in time. One of the main themes that I explore in my work is that of isolation, both from others and from the world around us. The titles of my pieces add an additional layer of meaning to the visual elements, creating a space for imagination to fill in the gaps and complete the story. I have always been fascinated by the idea of world-building and the potential for stories to be developed further. From my earliest memories, I have been captivated by tales of fantastic worlds and hidden mysteries, and I have always felt compelled to share the stories in my head with the world. Each of my works is a narrative that I offer to others, with the hope that it will inspire them to create their own personalized story.

Every day, we walk through buildings that were not built for us, places that were constructed for people who may no longer be alive. These buildings were built by those in the past with the assumption that we would still maintain them in the future. In turn, we build places for our contemporaries, hardly thinking of those who will come after, assuming they, in turn, will care for our works. My art imagines a world where this chain is broken, the people who come after do not care for the world built without them in mind, or perhaps people who have lost all ability to care for them to begin with. The works often contain a single subject, whose isolation from their surroundings is compounded by isolation from others, heightening their alienation from these places, unable even to build a world of their own amongst the bones of the old.

In my works, I capture a single moment of this feeling and imbue it with the weight of both the world that came before and the world that follows, to make sense of the moments between breaths instead of the predictable silence of the grave.
